Anime Bonanza hosts food drive to help benefit northern Nevada families
RENO, NV - As part of their yearly event, Anime Bonanza will be hosting the first of an annual food drive for the Food Bank of Northern Nevada, to help benefit members of the local community who require food assistance.
"Together we can help stomp out hunger one convention at a time." comments Lisa Monroe, Founder and Public Relations for both Anime Bonanza and Anime SG. "We were looking for a way to help give back to the community and now we have found it. Our food drive will also give a good opportunity for anime and steampunk fans to help hungry families while as having the chance to win some totally awesome prizes."
Attendees are encouraged to bring down a non-perishable, non-expired canned food item to the event's food drive and they will receive an additional ticket to the evening raffle for every item donated. The more items an individual donates, the more tickets they receive, and the more chances they have to win prizes, courtesy of FUNimation Entertainment, in the raffle. All food drive items will go to Food Bank of Northern Nevada to benefit hungry families in the area.
