IKKiCON IV is pleased to announce its first guests for the 2010 convention: fan-favorites Greg Ayres and Vic Mignogna are returning to IKKiCON IV! One of our favorite cosplay models, Meredith Placko, is also returning and bringing some costuming engineers, Outland Armour. And last but not least, Schwarze Sonne is new to IKKiCON, but sure to entertain!
Returning for his fourth appearance at IKKiCON, Greg Ayres is credited with voice-acting roles in over 100 anime series including BECK: Mongolian Chop Squad, Chrono Crusade, Negima!, Nerima Daikon Brothers, Ouran High School Host Club, Saiyuki, Wallflower, and Welcome to the NHK. In addition to engaging attendees at autograph sessions and panels with his unique perspective on anime and the industry, IKKiCON is also pleased to announce that Greg will once again be entertaining us with his inimitable skills as a DJ for the Saturday night dance!
Also returning for his third appearance at IKKiCON is Vic Mignogna. A talented actor and musician, Vic is best known to the anime community for his work as Edward Elric on television‚s Fullmetal Alchemist. Vic has also appeared in many other series including Full Metal Panic, Ouran High School Host Club, Saiyuki, Tsubasa: RESERVoir CHRoNiCLE, and Wallflower. IKKiCON looks forward to having Vic as our guest again, and this year he will be performing his music live in concert!
We're excited to announce our first musical guest, Schwarze Sonne. A new up and coming band based out central California, Schwarze Sonne draws influence from the Industrial music scene as well as that of the Visual-Kei scene of Japan. Implementing use of 7-string guitar, 5-string bass and multilingual lyrics, Schwarze Sonne creates dark music and elegance with an emphasis on the live performance. They will draw you into another world at there lives with there theater based performances.
We're welcoming back Meredith Placko for her second appearance at IKKiCON. Known as Ana Aesthetic to most of the fandom world, Meredith is an American costume designer, model, and entertainer. She has been creating her own costumes since 2000, going so far to earn a degree in Fashion Design. When not working on and wearing her own creations, she is one of the lead designers at Inhale Corsets and Couture. She's bringing with her Outland Armour. Founded in 2004, Outland Armour is a Georgia based fabrication and production company. Specializing in metal, leather, and wood working, film making, special effects, acting, sculpture, custom prop creation, custom sewing, and all aspects of costume design, the Outlanders have served customers across the US and even overseas. They are constantly expanding to better realize your imagination.
