MangaNEXT searches for a male mascot
For two years, Motoko, our mascot, has appeared in program guides, bookmarks and flyers all by herself. This year, we wanted to add a male counterpart to our publications, and we are enlisting the help of our attendees to make that possible. You dream him up, submit details about him via our downloadable contest entry form, and mail him in to [email protected]. You don't need to be an artist to enter, since a picture is not required. Should you choose to include a sketch, make sure it is less than 2MB. The winning entry will be drawn up by our staff artist for use in the 2008 MangaNEXT Program Guide, and the winning entrant will receive a free attendee badge for MangaNEXT 2008. To download the entry form, visit us at www.manganext.org. Good luck to all.
MangaNEXT will be held October 31 through November 2, 2008 at the Doubletree Somerset in New Jersey. MangaNEXT hosts a variety of manga-centered programming, including fan panels, workshops and guest speakers as well as a gaming room, video gaming room, dealers, cosplay and much more. Visit our website at www.manganext.org for more information or talk to staff and attendees on our forums at www.manganext.org/forum. We look forward to seeing you there!
