FanimeCon 2011 announces voice actor Tohru Furuya as a guest of honor
San Jose, CA (May 4th, 2011) - FanimeCon welcomes Tohru Furuya as a Guest of Honor. The veteran voice actor will interact with fans during panels and autograph sessions at FanimeCon 2011, which is being held at the San Jose McEnery Convention Center over Memorial Day Weekend, May 27-30, 2011.
Many avid anime fans have spent hundreds of hours listening to the voice of Tohru Furuya. He has played many major characters from vastly prolific anime, including Amuro Ray from Mobile Suit Gundam, Pegasus Seiya from Saint Seiya, Yamcha from Dragon Ball, Tuxedo Mask from Sailor Moon, Kyosuke Kasuga from Kimagure Orange Road, and Ribbons Almark from Mobile Suit Gundam 00.
