Phoenix, Ariz.--Kitsune Robot, one of the world's first anime cover bands, is looking forward to attending Phoenix Comicon in May.
"Kitsune Robot is a great way to show how people can make their passions come together," said Scott Haag, Music Programming Manager. "People at Phoenix Comicon will love hearing their favorite themes performed live!"
Formed in 2006, Kitsune Robot are devoted to playing covers of the most popular anime, video game, Jpop, and Jrock songs.
"We are so excited to see Kitsune Robot come back to Phoenix Comicon," said Matt Solberg, Convention Director. "They were so popular last year, and we'll know they'll be a hit."
"We have some great bands lining up to play at the Hyatt Regency, our host hotel for our evening and nighttime programming," said Scott Haag. "A lot of people don't know how great the music scene is going to be at Phoenix Comicon."
Phoenix Comicon is the signature pop culture event of the southwest, presenting guests and programming for hobbyists by attracting the top segments of the comics, anime, sci-fi, film, TV, and gaming industries. Entering its ninth year, Phoenix Comicon is expected to draw over 10,000 attendees to its May 27-30, 2010 convention held at the Phoenix Convention Center and Hyatt Regency, downtown Phoenix.
