ICON is an annual science fiction, fantasy, and speculative fiction convention held in the Iowa City region since 1975.

Join your geeky friends for ICON 49.5: The Half Season, to celebrate science fiction, fantasy, and speculative fiction. The convention is all day Saturday, October 11, with some optional activities the night of Friday, October 10. Programming will include panels, a Traveling Vendor Tour, fan chats, book readings, and more.
