Steampunk Event
The Vermillion Area Arts Council is pleased to announce our first annual Steampunk Pirate Festival entitled First Gear. Our goal is to foster community through historic science fiction and theatrical piracy. First Gear will be an afternoon to evening event on Saturday, September 14th, 2019 at the Washington Street Art Center. The event will begin with family and kid-friendly activities. While thematic vendors peddle their wares, there will be games, art making, costume contests, and steampunk and pirate performers will engage the audience with stage shows. Proceeds will support the Vermillion area Arts Council
